As a new type of conveying tool, truss manipulator is more and more popular. At present, the mainstream logistics system of flexible automatic production line at home and abroad mainly has two forms: the fully automatic production line composed of truss manipulator conveying workpiece and the automatic production line composed of robot loading and unloading system.
Agile flexible production system composed of high-speed machining center and truss manipulator has become the mainstream product. Truss manipulator transports parts at high altitude and directly transports processed parts from one machine tool to another. The truss manipulator has auxiliary functions such as inter process transportation, automatic loading and unloading, and material rotation. Due to fast, accurate and flexible transportation, the structure is relatively simple and easy to combine. Therefore, it is attached importance by machine tool manufacturers.
The truss manipulator consists of three basic parts: main body, drive system and control system. The robot is divided into Cartesian coordinate system according to its structure, and the manipulator moves along the two-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system. The main part is generally of gantry structure, consisting of Y direction beam and guide rail, Z direction ram, cross slide, column, transition connecting plate, base, etc.
The linear motion in the Z direction is an AC servo motor, which drives the gear to roll through the worm gear reducer. The rack is fixed on the Y direction beam and the Z direction ram, driving the moving parts to move quickly along the guide rail. The moving parts are light cross sliding seat and Z-direction ram, and the ram is made of aluminum alloy. The beam is made of square steel profiles. The guide rail and frame are installed on the beam, and contact with the guide rail through the roller. The entire manipulator is suspended on the beam.
